Princess Andre has responded to her mum Katie Price’s ongoing plastic surgery during her new ITV2 reality series The Princess Diaries. The 18-year-old’s first solo TV project, which aired on Sunday (August 10), will see her celebrate her milestone birthday and carve her own path as a social media influencer.

In the four-part series, viewers will watch Princess as she strives to become a ‘successful businesswoman’ away from her famous parents Katie Price and Peter Andre.

Despite Peter featuring in the series, as Princess still lives with her dad, Katie doesn’t appear on screen but could be heard speaking to her daughter on the phone during the first episode.

Speaking about her relationship with her mum during the first episode of her reality series, Princess revealed: “Me and my mum are so close now, we’re like best friends. She just lives life and she doesn’t care.”

Princess also revealed her thoughts on plastic surgery, which comes as Katie has gone under the knife yet again.

The former glamour model, 47, revealed on Saturday (August 9) that she had jetted off to Turkey with her boyfriend JJ Slater for another cosmetic procedure.

During her series, Princess revealed that she won’t be following in her mum’s footsteps when it comes to plastic surgery.

Speaking about wanting to bring out a makeup brand, Princess said instead of turning to surgery, she uses makeup to enhance her features that she is insecure about.

“People get surgery so young, you don’t need that when you are 18,” she said.

“I’m not against surgery at all. My mum has had a lot of surgery, but she was always the one telling me ‘don’t get it done you’re beautiful as you are’.”

During a previous appearance on Katie’s reality show, the model asked her daughter if she’d ever have her lips done, reports the Mirror.

“I want to say no, like you know how much surgery you’ve had… Can your body actually move? Because you stretch so much skin,” Princess replied.

“More surgery to come! Put it this way, when I’m 90 I’ll probably be transparent – you’ll see all my veins,” Katie responded.

Princess then told her mum: “It’s your body and your choice, I don’t have a problem with plastic surgery. But I think some people are so naturally pretty that they don’t actually need it. You were naturally pretty.”

Ahead of her new daughter’s series, Katie insisted there is no bad blood between her and Princess. She did however admit she was ‘upset’ not to have any part in the show.

In the latest episode of The Katie Price podcast, the mum-of-five said: “But what hurts my feelings – and it does upset me – is when your kids grow up, you go to their assemblies, you go to their Christmas things, you go to their awards, you know, you go to their football matches or their gymnastics, you’re involved in everything they do.

“And knowing that what my career has been, Princess is taking that same path – trying to do the same as what I’ve done – which I absolutely love and adore of Princess but I had not been allowed to go on any photoshoot, no signings or Superdrug openings or anything like that. Why? Because I’m not allowed and I’m not welcome.”

Princess has also spoken out about the rumoured feud with her mum, as she told the Daily Mail: “It’s my show, it’s not based on my parents, it’s focused on me. To be honest there’s no rift between me and either of my parents.”
