Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen posted a picture of his meeting with Kilmar Ábrego García, the migrant mistakenly deported last month to a notorious prison in El Salvador and not seen since. El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele mocked the meeting, writing sarcastically that Ábrego García is “sipping margaritas” with the Democratic lawmaker. NBC’s Garrett Haake reports for TODAY.
