Heal’s, a homeware and furniture brand with over 200 years of history, has just unveiled its autumn collection
The new series of The Great British Bake Off kicked off last week, marking the unofficial start of autumn. With the weather turning cloudy and rainy, it’s the perfect time to spruce up homes, creating cosy and warm spaces.
Heal’s, a homeware and furniture brand with over 200 years of history, has just unveiled its autumn collection, and it’s full of cosy staples. Established in 1810, the brand is renowned for its trendsetting and high-quality interior designs.
The latest range includes candles, cushions, tableware, mugs, among other items. One standout piece is the Heal’s 59 Cushion Olive and Cream. The cream and brown cushion measures 45x45cm and is crafted from soft velvet, adorned with a bold pattern. Each cushion is handcrafted in India and filled with plush feathers for a luxurious touch.

Similarly, the Boucle Cushion Cobalt, is touted by Heal’s as an ideal choice for adding depth and texture to your space, reports Nottinghamshire Live. The bold colour has been trending this year, and it was highlighted in Copenhagen Fashion Week, where fashionistas rocked the punchy, and almost futuristic shade in tops and jackets.
Barton Croft Mug

Handcrafted in Portugal, this beautifully textured stoneware mug is not just a vessel for your favourite beverages; it’s a moment of calm in your day
Also included in the new autumn collection is the Lo Studio scented candle (£49). The ‘To The Sea’ fragrance features rock salt, blended with a samphire base and top notes of citrus bergamot. Encased in a glass jar, the candle provides 60 hours of burn time. This rock salt-scented candle would make a delightful addition to any home or serve as a thoughtful gift for a loved one.
In line with the candle theme, Dunelm has also introduced a variety of new collections for the autumn season. Among them is a set of two Multi-wick Smoked Candles, retailing at £45, each infused with notes of black tea and bergamot.
Heal’s is offering a stylish Barton Croft Mug (£28) for your kitchen needs. Available in four appealing colours – sunrise, milk, seaglass, and dijon, this textured stoneware mug is ideal for cosy mornings or tranquil evenings. Its generous size makes it perfect for hot chocolates.
The retailer has also introduced the Helsinki Task Lamp, available in two finishes: silver and black. The table lamp boasts a minimalist, mid-century style and features a directional light that can be adjusted as needed. Thanks to its movable headlight, it would serve as a practical and attractive office lamp.
For those seeking alternative table lamps, Next offers the Carson Touch Table Lamp. It’s more compact than Heal’s Helsinki Task Lamp and comes in two metal finishes: chrome and brass.
Based on reviews and ratings listed on Trustpilot, one satisfied customer praised the service, saying: “Fantastic customer service from Lani today who helped me purchase some cushions that were unavailable online. The sort of customer service you wish you received from all suppliers.”

Another user shared their positive experience with a lamp purchase, writing: “I bought a floor-standing lamp, mid-century design based on brand reputation and pictures. It came on time; it looks as good as it did in the pictures and is reasonably easy to assemble. It cost much more than competitive products, but the quality and aesthetics seemed better.
“Interestingly, whilst waiting for delivery, a 20% sale came on and rather than returning and reordering it, customer service immediately refunded the 20%, which came to me in days.”
Nevertheless, one individual highlighted issues with Heal’s delivery service: “Very nice showroom, but I was let down by the long online delivery lead time and lack of communication. Such a shame as I love browsing their stores.”
Another customer remarked: “Absolutely brilliant customer service (thank you, Eugene) and the best delivery team ever. I am very happy with my new table and bench and wish I could only shop with Heal’s.”
A final purchaser noted: “Great customer service – I ordered a couple of delicate light fittings. They arrived on time very well packaged but one was broken despite this – doesn’t look like this was any fault of Heal’s. I contacted them and they immediately shipped a replacement.”
