Cineplex’s annual Community Day will take place on Saturday, November 15, offering a variety of free movies and games across Canada.
This year, fans will get to see the following movies at no cost:
- Minions: Rise of Gru
- Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
- Sing 2
- The Wild Robot
Complimentary tickets will be offered exclusively in theatres from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. local time on a first-come, first-served basis. During that two-hour window, guests can also get a regular popcorn, regular drink or select candy for $3 plus tax, as well as free 30-minute non-redemption playcards or tokens at Cineplex’s in-theatre Xscape arcades.
Additionally, Cineplex’s Rec Room and Playdium locations will offer free, non-redemption, one-hour game bands between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. local time. And until noon, you can get $3 food items like fries and mini donuts at The Rec Room and regular popcorn, fries or select candy at Playdium.
Finally, Cineplex says $1 from every food and beverage purchase, Xscape play card purchase and reload, and game band purchase and reload at The Rec Room and Playdium will be donated to BGC Canada. The charity supports kids and teens through life-changing programs, community-based services and more.
