Alberta oil has been financing the wickedly expensive spending of the federal Liberals and paying off their debt service payments, BUT after 2026, Canada’s debt will be Canada’s problem, and good luck even paying the debt service payments on your over $1.27-trillion debt, without Alberta! It is not our problem, after Alberta votes to leave Canada in the coming 2026 referendum. After Alberta leaves Canada, Eastern Canada may be sorry they let Liberal Justin Trudeau run up more national debt than ALL the previous prime ministers combined. Eastern Canada may be sorry they let Liberal Mark Carney spend like a drunken sailor with no federal budget until the Fall of 2025. Once the federal budget quantifies the full abuse of the public purse by the federal Liberals, Albertans can leave Canada, taking full comfort when voting for Independence, knowing they are leaving a country that is racing towards bankruptcy. Once Alberta leaves Canada, every dollar of Canada’s national debt is only Canada’s problem and not Alberta’s!!!

King Charles’ support

Whether you are a supporter of the monarchy or not, King Charles certainly has shown himself to be a class act who, after his parliamentary speech, took the time to reach out and shake the hands of so many Canadian admirers. He’s a man facing the realities of having cancer that evokes so much anguish while battling it to survive. God bless His Majesty, who even while facing his mortality continues with royal duties by visiting Canada to show the crown’s support for us during these troubling times.

Secession plan

What is required for the federal government to listen and address Alberta’s grievances and complaints is a majority of Albertans to vote in favour for secession. This will tell PM Carney and the governing Liberals Alberta isn’t bluffing and we’re serious. A majority vote will put the onus on the federal government to offer Alberta concessions and to make fundamental structural changes the way Canada is governed from Ottawa. For example, an elected, equal senate. For far too long, Alberta has gone to Ottawa hat in hand, only to have Alberta’s concerns ignored and dismissed by Ottawa. A majority vote to secede will have Ottawa, if they’re serious, come to Alberta with their hat in hand and plead with Alberta to remain in Confederation. Moreover, Alberta will have the leverage in any negotiations with the federal government.
