I swear to God, a five-year-old could do a better job negotiating with Donald Trump.
From what has been released so far, it appears we are joining the U.S. in their endeavour to weaponize space even more than it already is by installing this “fabulous Golden Dome,” and we are signing on like sheep before we even know the details. Although sheep will only go the way they are led by their shepherd.
I don’t know if we need this Golden Dome or not, but, at the very least, hold off until a trade deal is done, as a bit of a bargaining chip.
I do know that we will pay more than anyone wants for this, as the Americans are only slightly better than us when estimating mega defence projects.

STILL SEETHING
I still seethe when I think of the tyranny and overreach the Trudeau government invoked during COVID.
Among other things, to me one of the most egregious restrictions was when people were denied the right to visit sick or dying loved ones. I can tell you definitively that there is no way in hell they would have been able to keep me from being physically present to comfort a loved one in such a situation.
I feel bad for anyone who was affected by such a cruel and unnecessary restriction.

DON’T SUPPORT PALESTINIAN STATE
As a concerned and faith-guided citizen, I respectfully urge Canada not to support the establishment of a separate Palestinian state. I believe, based on Scripture, that the land of Israel was divinely given to the Jewish people.
Once groups like Hamas are dismantled, I support the peaceful resettlement of Palestinians within Israel, if approved by its government.
I share this view not out of hostility, but out of conviction — and in solidarity with those committed to Israel’s security and future.
