BLUSTER MAKES US BETTER

It’s an amazing time in Canadian history. The only person since the inception of this country who could weld the country together from coast to coast turns out to be a blustery, loud-mouthed American.

No one before Donald Trump has so galvanized us from coast to coast in a more singular focus — to build our country out as a standalone, open for business and, at last, offering our wares.

It just shows what happens when you threaten us — it just makes us stronger!

LES SWERDFEGER

(We don’t back down from a fight, that we can all agree on.)

STILL NO TRANSPARENCY

I never thought anyone would top Justin Trudeau for the worst PM in the history of Canada, but Mark Carney is in the same category. He is highly arrogant and believes he need not provide any accountability or transparency to Canadians.

Just like when the Liberals ignored Parliament’s will for transparency regarding the Sustainable Development Technology Canada scandal, they are now set to ignore Parliament’s will to table a budget before leaving for vacation.

Just try to listen to the Liberals in the House of Commons without getting sick.

(A former banker would know all the reasons to delay making a budget public, wouldn’t he?)

REMEMBER WHEN … ?

Remember, before Justin Trudeau’s reign of terror, how our country was booming? Anyone who wanted a job had one, Canadians could afford rent or to make their mortgage payments, and only a few had to depend on food banks.

Why? Because our natural resources were making all of this possible. Then along came Trudeau and some fool who climbed the CN Tower, and they shut it all down, trying to scare everyone about climate change.

Now certain Canadians have voted the Liberals back in. Scary.

BARRY HARRIS

(Scary indeed, but there may have been other factors at play. Trudeau can’t take all the credit.)

CARNEY IS THE SAME OLD LIB

While I was deeply disappointed that Pierre Poilievre wasn’t successful in the past election, I had hope that, although the team was the same, Mark Carney would turn out to be someone different than his predecessor. Turns out he is the same. Watching question period over the past week the Liberals continue using the same talking points and refuse to answer a question, Carney included. I guess honesty and transparency are not Liberal attributes.

Jane Gilbert

(Evasion is the language the Liberals understand. It’s too bad we have to endure them for another term.)
