Gurgaon-based Staqu has launched an AI model targeted at the retail industry called Jarvis GPT. The model offers real-time customer insights, store monitoring and predictive analytics to retailers to make better decisions and enhance the customer shopping experience.

In a press release making the announcement, the AI startup said that Jarvis GPT tracks footfall trends in terms of the gender and across different stores, monitors customer engagement and how much time they spend near which products to improve inventory placement and layout of the store, can detect suspicious activities and prevent loss with AI video surveillance. Additionally, the AI model also generates instant analytics reports and shares them directly on WhatsApp for quick decision-making.

“Retailers need intelligent solutions that can turn vast amounts of raw data into actionable insights. Jarvis GPT bridges this gap by leveraging AI-powered video analytics to decode customer behaviour, optimize store layouts, and improve overall operational efficiency. By providing real-time intelligence, Jarvis GPT enables businesses to enhance productivity, anticipate market trends, and foster deeper customer relationships. This is not just about adopting new technology; it’s about shaping the future of intelligent retail,” Atul Rai, co-founder and CEO of the firm said.

Founded in 2015, Staqu said that it is already working with brands like Raymond, We work, Olive and Embassy. It had also rolled out another AI-powered crime detection tool earlier called CrimeGPT in collaboration with the UP police while also working with multiple state police departments to nab traffic violators.
