Telus is launching Wi-Fi 7 in Canada, which will offer four times faster speeds than Wi-Fi 6. The carrier says Wi-Fi 7 is now available in B.C. and will soon be available in Alberta and Quebec.
Wi-Fi 7 is available to new customers on Telus PureFibre Gigabit plans and above and existing customers who upgrade to eligible speed tiers.
The upgrade to Wi-Fi 7 will include faster speeds, significantly lower latency, and seamless connection to more devices.
Recently, Rogers launched Wi-Fi 7 in Calgary and Atlantic Canada. This leaves Bell as the last of the Big Three to not launch Wi-Fi 7. We’re also missing Wi-Fi 7 availability in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and more provinces/territories. As someone who currently has a terrible Wi-Fi situation in my home, whoever brings this to Ontario first has my money.
