Apple selling off M2 MacBook Airs for $950

If you’re still on an Intel MacBook and want to upgrade to a new M chip, this refurbished deal from Apple is going to be hard to beat.

The model that’s discounted to $949 is the M2 version from two years ago and it only has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD space. However, for someone who just needs a computer for browsing the web or standard school work, this is pretty ideal.

If you need a machine with a little more RAM, there are also M3 units with 16GB of RAM for as low as $1,079. When new, this spec usually goes for around $1,300 and the M4 version starts at $1,399 new.

If you don’t want to buy refurbished, Staples also has some similar sales on new MacBooks. The base model M2 (8GB RAM) is $999 and the same spec but with an M3 is $1,099.
