Two more suspects arrested, one sought in west Windsor shooting

Windsor police now have five in custody in relation to a west-end shooting, and they’re on the lookout for one more.

Shortly before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Toronto police nabbed suspects Damien Richards and Chelsea Adamache. Both were wanted on outstanding warrants for a targeted shooting near the intersection of Partington Avenue and Algonquin Street in Windsor on Jan. 30.

Richards, 38, is charged with attempted murder, pointing a firearm, possession of a firearm without a license, and occupying a motor vehicle with a firearm.

Adamache, 36, is charged with accessory after the fact to attempted murder.

Three other suspects were previously arrested in connection to the shooting. Rodney Belward, 30, Courtney Hopson, 22, and Christian Chanel Patterson, 33, each face one charge of accessory after the fact to attempted murder. Police previously withheld their names to avoid compromising the investigation.

One suspect remains outstanding. He is described as a man in his 30s with a light complexion, approximately five feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build, light eyes, a buzz cut, and strawberry blonde facial hair. At the time of the incident, he wore black clothing.

The final suspect is wanted for attempted murder.
